At the heart of the Jazz Camp Package experience is playing or singing in a small band, just like the iconic ensembles heard on classic recordings by Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Horace Silver, Sonny Rollins, and modern greats like Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and Roy Hargrove.

Each day, you’ll immerse yourself in a curriculum designed to strengthen your role within the combo, honing essential skills such as listening, technique, vocabulary, improvisation, and leadership. As you rehearse and perform, you’ll develop the confidence and musical fluency to explore some of the most exciting music in the jazz repertoire.
