How to buy tickets

Buy tickets online by clicking on the Get Tickets buttons above or below. Buy tickets via telephone 650-725-ARTS (2787).

Tickets may also be purchased by fax, mail, or in person at the Stanford Ticket Office, Tresidder Student Union, 459 Lagunita Dr., Stanford CA 94305. If you don’t have online access, ticket order forms are available from Stanford Jazz Workshop by calling 650-736-0324.

Any unsold tickets on the day of the performance will be sold at the door begining one hour prior to start time.

Service fees

Phone, online, mail, and fax orders are subject to a service fee of $4 per ticket. Jazz Trio and Group Rate purchases are subject to a service fee of $10 per order, regardless of the number of tickets purchased. Early Bird performances will be charged a service fee of $1 per ticket.
In-person purchases at the Ticket Office or at the door do not have service charges.

Ticket policies

Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager. Artists in the festival lineup are subject to change. Venue will-call and box office windows open one hour prior to each performance.

New ticket pricing and seating for 2011

In response to customer requests for reserved seat options at certain shows, Opening Night and Saturday night performances in Dinkelspiel Auditorium have a specially-priced Premium reserved seating section for the Center section, Rows A-D. All other seats are General Admission, available at the General Admission price or at the Student price for students with a valid ID.

The special performances by Milton Nascimento in Dinkelspiel Auditorium on Thursday, June 30 and Friday, July 1 are reserved seating only. Prices are as follows: Center, Rows A-D: $65; Center, Rows E-P: $50; Sides, Rows A-D: $50; Sides, Rows E-P: $35. All seats in these sections are reserved.
All other Stanford Jazz Festival events are general admission. Venues open for seating 30-45 minutes prior to performance.  

Discounts

The Jazz Trio — save 10%

Create your own mini-series and save. Order at least one ticket to a minimum of three different festival events and receive 10% off the general admission price. No other discounts apply.

Group rates

The Stanford Jazz Festival offers discounted tickets and reserved seats to groups of 10 or more for individual performances. Please contact Ernie Rideout at erideout@stanfordjazz.org for information.

Students and children

Unless otherwise noted, the Stanford Jazz Festival offers discounts up to 40% off for students with valid ID and children under 18.

The Stanford Jazz Festival is committed to providing high quality cultural experiences for audiences of all ages. Some performances may not be suitable for young children. Regardless of age, all children must have a ticket. We ask that children attending ticketed Stanford Jazz Festival performances sit quietly throughout the performance.
