Jazz titans share their love of the standards.

“DeRose is the most creative and compelling singer/pianist since Shirley Horn.”
~ Joel E. Siegel

Dena DeRose Trio with Anat Cohen and Jimmy Heath

Jazz titans share their love of the standards.

All jazz fans love the standards. The music is timeless; we connect emotionally with the lyrics, and even with songs from generations before our own, they’re indelibly associated with time and place in our lives. Artists of this caliber feel the same way. Vocalist and pianist Dena DeRose, woodwind master Anat Cohen, drummer extraordinaire Allison Miller, and rock steady bassist Dave Robaire will interpret and perform jazz standards as you’ve never heard them before. For this band, to take on music as familiar and beloved as this is to free their musical imaginations to flow unimpeded, and to open the floodgates of their creativity.

Personnel:
Dena DeRose, piano and vocals
Jimmy Heath, saxophone
Anat Cohen, woodwinds
Dave Robaire, bass
Allison Miller, drums
