Great voices making great jazz, in the tradition of the American Songbook.

Celebrating the Great American Songbook

Great voices making great jazz, in the tradition of the American Songbook.

This special afternoon show features an all-star lineup of great singers and instrumentalists, performing some of the best-loved tunes and standards from the Great American Songbook. Bay Area rising star vocalists Tiffany Austin and Allegra Bandy will melt your heart. They’ll be joined onstage by SJW Alumnae Nina Grigg and Madeleine McGlynn — young singers whose command of the songs and the stage is far beyond their years. Keeping these great singers swinging is a band of great players, including some of the top instrumentalists in the Bay Area.

Personnel:
Tiffany Austin, vocals
Allegra Bandy, vocals
Nina Grigg, vocals
Madeleine McGlynn, vocals
Noel Jewkes, saxophone
Jeff Sanford, woodwinds
Larry Dunlap, piano
John Wiitala, bass
Leon Joyce, drums
