About Ben Flocks/Kristen Strom

New York-based but locally grown, Ben Flocks brings a distinctly California approach to jazz, cleverly blending styles while keeping true to the commitment of improvisation. Kristen Strom and guitarist Scott Sorkin’s stunning arrangements showcase the music of the late bassist John Shifflet, who was a great friend and contributor to SJW, and to jazz music in the Bay Area and beyond.
