The Stanford Jazz Workshop and Festival is proud to hold its concerts and educational programs in the world-class facilities of Stanford University. The venues offer intimate settings and outstanding acoustics for all of our shows.

Also, please note that all of these venues are wheelchair accessible.*

Braun Music Center
This is Stanford's music facility, which houses offices, classrooms, practice rooms, rehearsal halls, and two of our concert venues—Campbell Recital Hall and Dinkelspiel Auditorium—which are described below. All of the Stanford Jazz Workshop's summer programs take place within Braun Music Center.
Campbell Recital Hall 541 Lasuen Mall Stanford CA 94305
This is an intimate 218-seat performance and lecture hall with raised seating and an enclosed sound booth. The size and design of this room offer an intimate setting and excellent acoustics.
Dinkelspiel Auditorium 471 Lagunita Dr Stanford CA 94305
This hall has 710 seats in a 3/4 semi-circle arrangement, which allows concert goers to be very close to the stage even from the last row. This room has excellent acoustics for its size.

Driving
From 101: Take the Embarcadero Road Exit and head west approximately three miles toward Stanford University, and cross El Camino Real to enter the Stanford campus. At this point, Embarcadero Road becomes Galvez Street. Continue to Campus Drive and turn left. Follow Campus Drive until Mayfield Avenue. Turn right onto Mayfield Avenue. At the next stop sign turn left and then make a quick right at the next stop sign into the Tresidder Student Union parking lot, which also serves Braun Music Center/Dinkelspiel Auditorium. Parking is free on weekends and after 4 pm; there is a fee at all other times. Once inside the parking lot, follow signs that say "Stanford Jazz" to locate our venues.

From 280: Take the Page Mill Exit and go east. At the second light, turn left on Junipero Serra Boulevard. At the second light turn right on Campus Drive East. At the next stop sign turn left on Mayfield Avenue. At the next stop sign turn left and then make a quick right at the next stop sign into the Tresidder Student Union parking lot, which serves Braun Music Center/Dinkelspiel Auditorium. Parking is free on weekends and after 4 pm; there is a fee at all other times. Once inside the parking lot, follow signs that say "Stanford Jazz" to locate our venues.

From the Airport: Stanford Jazz Workshop does not arrange transportation for participants arriving or departing going to or coming from the airport. San Francisco International Airport & Mineta San Jose International Airport are both equally convenient to the Stanford University campus. Public Transportation
Caltrain and Marguerite: It is easy to get to the Stanford Jazz Workshop's programs via CalTrain and Stanford University's free Marguerite shuttle bus system. Take CalTrain to the downtown Palo Alto station. Board the B line Marguerite Shuttle bus, which will serve Tresidder Student Union. Buses & BART: Stanford University is served by public transit agencies AC Transit, SamTrans, and Santa Clara VTA. Visit 511.org and use the 511TakeTransit Trip Planner for information on bus and BART transportation options and schedules.
